July 13th Successes
Guys,
We did an AWESOME job out there today. We won the vast majority of games, and games that we did lose...well...THEY HAPPEN!
Communication was top knotch with squad leaders and guys on the front lines.
IMPORTANT: I think the greatest advantage we had today, and the one thing we need to more seriously consider is NUMBERS. I can't remember the last time at Leonard that we haven't counted how many guys we have opposing us. It gives the people in charge a much better idea, when we see our opponents walking off the field, exactly what situation we are in.
Lets start doing that more often! What are your thoughts?
Lastly, we are going to try something new. We don't give out a lot of individual praise and I think it would be nice to have a tradition to produce a Player of the Game after each outing. Vote for the guy you think contributed the most to our success today!

Still waiting for votes guys and some elaborations on what we did right, what we did wrong, and where we need to improve!
Re: July 13th Successes
I concur with you chris. Our communication on Sunday was awesome. We were definitely playing like the team I think we can be. Keeping track of the numbers was definitely important, but not as important as the actual elimination of those numbers. As far as that goes, I think Mills did an awesome job, even though I harassed him a lot, but he really had some great kills. I think that during the game we were a lot more patient than we have been in games past, and I think that was important too. I know that I am an aggressive player, and I like to get out there first and shoot 'em up, but in the long run patient and smart play is much more successful. GOOD GAMES GUYS!!! SEE YOU NEXT TIME!

Re: July 13th Successes
Sorry for the late post. Ok, I think the July 13th game as a whole went rather well. The only thing I think that needs to be worked on just a tad bit is radio comm. There was a game where I could only reach one of 1st Recon members out of the three that were on my team. I believe Robert said something about higher frequencies have longer range if I’m not mistaken. If that's the case; we may want to use higher freq numbers in the future to boost radio strength. Radio bugs aside, I believe everyone did an awesome job out there. Especially Josh, for watching all of our gear in that hot weather!
